Calculating My Daily Cost of Living

Recently,  I have been thinking a ton about financial freedom and the best way for my family to achieve said goals. There was once a time when working 60+ hours a week was like clockwork for me. However, I currently can not work in such a capacity, so I have to become more intentional about my budgeting. Considering my new realization, I started thinking about how much money it costs my family to live each day versus how much income I currently generate.

Ideally, I would like for my income to be 5x my bills. Since that is something that I am still striving for. I plan to first work towards bringing in 1.5x my bills and then progressing from there. I plan on accumulating such funds via multiple passive income streams. It will take time to build up these income streams, for they are not yet in place; once I have successfully established them, I will write more about them.

Right now, I use a binder to track my budget. I have a slew of budget and planning materials that I would like to add to my repertoire. However, because I do not want to go broke in creating financial freedom, I am currently creating a list of obtainable and sustainable financial goals and rewards for myself once I have reached them.
